When facing an unexpected pregnancy, it may seem like a woman’s choice, but it is more than that. Your life will be changed as well. Men are affected by abortion decisions, as well as parenting and adoption choices. You have an opportunity to come alongside your partner, listen to her, and be in this together.
FIND OUT FOR SURE IF SHE’S REALLY PREGNANT
A positive pregnancy test (including those taken at home) suggests a high probability that she is pregnant. However, the result should be confirmed.
The Pregnancy Help Center provides free pregnancy testing. Our pregnancy tests are medical quality, highly sensitive, and provide immediate results. If your partner’s test is positive, our staff will determine next steps, such as an ultrasound exam, and the best time to schedule that procedure.
An ultrasound can answer three major questions:
- Is the pregnancy in the uterus?
- How far along is she?
- Is there a fetal heartbeat?
This information is critical regardless of what options you both may be considering.
